Creative Kids programs

The cost of these programs is covered by a Creative Kids voucher. Most NSW school aged children are eligible for this free. To find out more about the program and check eligibility click here.

Introductory piano / keyboard course

Short 3 lesson course designed to introduce children to the piano or keyboard. Program consists of 3 x 30 minute weekly individual lessons. Parents are encouraged to participate to help reinforce concepts learnt during lessons.

Introductory brass instrument lessons

Short 3 lesson course designed to introduce children to the brass instrument of their choice (eg trumpet, cornet, horn, trombone, euphonium, tuba). Program consists of 3 x 30 minute weekly individual lessons. Parents are encouraged to participate to help reinforce concepts learnt during lessons.

Musical theory course

Short 3 week individual course or an 8 week group course of weekly lessons of 30 minutes each. Designed for students already undertaking instrumental lessons to boost their knowledge of musical theory.

Introduction to music writing / composition / arranging

Designed for students with prior musical knowledge, this 3 week course will introduce students to either writing their own music or producing musical scores for groups such as brass / concert bands, orchetras or small instrumental ensembles. An introduction to musical composition / score-writing software will be included.

Using the Creative Kids voucher towards ongoing music tuition

The Creative Kids voucher can also be used to reduce the cost of a term of music lessons by $100.
