15 lessons for beginning band students, by Derek Moule.
These clarinet lesson sheets are not a 'teach yourself' series. They are designed for music teachers to work through with their students during lessons and to provide concise, simple notes to serve as a reminder for the student of what was covered and needs to be practised for the next lesson. The author wrote these lesson sheets as he found many tutors contained too much explanatory text, failing to highlight clearly the main points to be practised and remembered for the next lesson and appearing more daunting for the student to face, even if the pace of the tutor was very slow.
These lesson sheets are part of the 'Beginner Band Series' produced by Noteburra.
Please note: The 'student edition', which is available in hard copy, is intended as an individual student book and may not be photocopied. The 'teacher edition', which is available as an ebook in PDF format, comes with a licence for the teacher who purchased the ebook to copy for students receiving tuition from them.
If you choose this option you will be emailed a PDF file containing the music you have purchased. Please note that sending of the files is not automated but done by a human, so you will not receive the music instantaneously. Most computers will easily allow you to print off this music so you can play it, but if you experience any problems feel free to contact us. Choosing this method is cheaper because you don't have to pay for postage. It is becoming increasingly common for people to buy books and music in this format.
This is the more traditional method, where you actually receive the music in the post. The music is neatly presented. Spiral binding is used on thicker books to help ensure the music stays flat on the music stand (ever experienced the frustration of a thick music book continually closing or falling off the music stand while trying to play?). The prices quoted include postage - just choose the correct option depending on whether you live within Australia or outside Australia.
